Dentist scans impression of patient, then sends STL file to Cadent™.

Step 2

Cadent™ receives, cleans up, and splices the STL file. Cadent then marks the margin(s) and sends the STL file back to the dentist and the lab for margin verification.

Lab verifies margin(s) and imports data into DW CAD software to begin the design process of the substructure.

Dentist verifies margin(s).

CMC receives DWOS-compatible STL file from Cadent® authorized laboratory, equipped with an iTero® Lab CAD Station and Software

Step 4

By splitting the STL file into multiple parts, we simultaneously mill the model, manufacture the substructure of your choice, and print the full anatomical wax-up. Our vertical integration defines that we are the only processing center that can provide you with all the necessary elements to assist you in completing the final restoration.

Step 4A

With our e.max® CAD/CAM capabilities, we add one more step to this process. CMC can mill e.max CAD blue blocks for your laboratory's application for your final signature stain and glaze.

Step 4B

By splitting the STL file into multiple parts, we simultaneously mill and print the full anatomical wax-up.

Step 4B

From the doctors' digital impression scan, we produce every element you need to complete the final restoration. By providing you with a broad selection of material choices, including Pearl™ zirconia, Lava™, and Katana, CMC keeps you in control of the design and fabrication stages.

Step 5

We complete the fabrication/milling of all the necessary parts. The substructure, anatomical wax-up, and milled model are shipped via UPS next-day delivery to your laboratory for arrival before noon.

Step 6

You are now equipped to complete the final restorations according to your doctor's prescription.

Step 7

Provide your doctor with your completed signature restoration.

From the digital impression, we can mill the model, scan, and design the full anatomical wax up, mill an all ceramic or zirconia coping.
